A student-written show by Berry junior Jack Padgett, Make Merry (Or How to Survive Your Family on Holidays) tells the story of Kirsten Bentley, a self-proclaimed “normal” college girl from a family that is anything but. When a sudden snowstorm traps her and her family together in their childhood home for the holidays, they’re forced to confront the things that have kept them apart in ways that none of them could predict. Through quick humor and deep heart in a family-friendly environment, Make Merry paints a picture of just what it’s like to live in a crazy family where everyone has the answers, yet nobody’s listening. Performances are at 7:30 pm Wednesday through Friday, and 2pm and 7:30pm on Saturday. Admission is by monetary donation. All proceeds go to Saint Judes Research Hospital and the BCTC student Travel Fund. Suggested donation $5 for students, $10 for adults, $7 for seniors. Admission with suggested donation includes performance and access to Winter Wonderland party with Santa! For more information please call the box office at 706-236-2263
